SIMEA - Intervention Forms Platform

Full-stack Web Developer - SIMEA. Built a PWA to digitize paper intervention forms for an elevator, automatic gate, and access-control maintenance company. Developed a Next.js 15 TypeScript frontend with Shadcn UI, TanStack Query, Zustand, and NextAuth, including offline-first technician flows with IndexedDB caching, touch signatures, automatic PDF generation, and sync-on-reconnect. Built an Express TypeScript backend with Sequelize and MySQL for JWT role-based auth (Admin/Technician), immeuble and client management, intervention form CRUD with auto-generated sequential bon numbers, and automatic totals calculation. Implemented an admin dashboard with activity overview, pending sync counters, email delivery status, property management, filters, and export capabilities. Added PDF generation (PDFKit/jsPDF), automated client email delivery with signed attachments via Nodemailer, and Google Cloud Storage integration for document handling.

Project Goals
To fully digitize paper intervention forms for field technicians and administrators, enabling offline mobile capture, automatic synchronization, signed PDF generation, and instant email delivery to clients from a centralized platform.
Challenges Faced
Challenges included building reliable offline-first workflows for technicians in the field, keeping form validation and auto-calculations consistent between local and server state, reproducing the paper bon layout in generated PDFs with digital signatures, and orchestrating sync queues with automated email delivery and delivery-status tracking.
Solutions Implemented
Delivered a modular client/server architecture with IndexedDB-backed offline storage and sync indicators, role-based JWT APIs for technicians and admins, sequential bon numbering and automatic HT totals on the backend, an admin dashboard for immeubles, intervention slips, and email logs, and integrated PDF plus SMTP pipelines to send signed intervention documents to clients after successful synchronization.
Technologies Used
